The GT mirror uses the idea of a "gun tackle pulley" as its main inspiration. A round mirror is suspended by rope and perfectly weighted by a brass rod to create the idea of balance. This product was featured as part of an exhibit by The Future Perfect in 2010 called "Lift, Hold, Roll."[MG1]
